Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Senior Engineer to join our growing team. You will be a strategic asset on design-build projects, contributing to 3D/4D/5D analyses, BIM governance, and digital practice implementation across phases from pre-construction to handover.

This role requires 3–5 years in AEC with MEP coordination, strong BIM software skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• 3–5 years in the AEC industry with emphasis on MEP coordination.
• At least 3 years with VDC/BIM processes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
• Willing to travel or relocate to a job site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 3D and 2D coordination to support design-build teams.
• Liaise with design team and subcontractors on BIM tasks.
• Provide technical support for in‑house BIM applications.
• Assist Pre-Con with quantities extraction and scheduling.
• Coach project teams in BIM best practices.
• Coordinate 3D content and model changes.
• Perform 4D and 5D analyses with scheduling/estimating teams.
• Document clash detection and assist conflict resolution.
• Manage project content as information manager.
