Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for improved construction planning. You will work across multiple projects with an international team, delivering 4D simulations and contributing to 5D workflows.

You’ll bring hands-on BIM/VDC experience, proficiency with SYNCHRO or Fuzor, and familiarity with Revit/Navisworks, plus a drive to improve tools and processes for faster, more accurate planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience including hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Experience with 4D platforms (SYNCHRO, Fuzor) and Revit/Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and Primavera P6 data is valuable.
• Ability to communicate clearly across disciplines and time zones.
• Portfolio of 4D/5D projects welcomed.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare and structure model data, including Revit parameters for reliable linking.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate sequencing and identify conflicts, risks, and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations and presentations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models up-to-date as designs and priorities change.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team, setting priorities and reviewing deliverable quality.
• Improve repeatable workflows and troubleshoot data integration for speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting model quantities, schedule activities, and estimating or cost data.
• Share knowledge and help project teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
