Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for enhanced construction planning. The role supports multiple projects with an international delivery team and emphasizes turning 4D into essential planning tools.

You’ll develop 4D workflows, optimize data structures, and help advance 5D integration. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in BIM/VDC with hands-on 4D experience, proficiency in SYNCHRO or Fuzor, and familiarity with Revit/Navisworks.

Qualifications

2+ years BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing.
Experience with Revit parameters and model/data management is expected.
Ability to explain technical information clearly and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or comparable tools.
Prepare/structure/vet model data to support reliable schedule linking.
Identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities with project teams.
Create simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions.
Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
Coordinate work with an international delivery team and ensure deliverable quality.
Improve workflows, troubleshoot data integration issues, and test automation to improve speed and accuracy.
Assist development of 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
2+ years of BIM/VDC experience, including 4D modeling or sequencing.
Experience with SYNCHRO or Fuzor, plus Revit and/or Navisworks.
