Job summary

Donnellon McCarthy Enterprises, a Cincinnati-based managed services provider, is seeking a vCIO to join its Managed Services team. In this client-facing role, you will translate technology into business value, develop roadmaps, and help price solutions for small to mid-market companies.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional IT experience in systems/network engineering, technical support, managed services, cybersecurity, or related field.
Strong ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders and nontechnical audiences.
Interest in developing sales, business development, solution design, and strategic consulting skills.

Responsibilities

Meet with current customers and prospects to understand their business, technology environment, challenges, and goals.
Assess technology needs and identify opportunities across Managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud services, backup & disaster recovery, networking, and IT infrastructure.
Translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations for owners and executives.
Develop technology roadmaps and recommendations based on customer needs.
Collaborate with internal technical resources to design and scope appropriate solutions.
Help scope, price, and present technology solutions and proposals.
Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
Build relationships with key decision-makers and serve as a trusted technology resource.
Travel locally across the Greater Cincinnati area for customer meetings.
