Job summary

The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) is seeking a VAULT Program Manager to own the full program lifecycle for licensure verification services. You will define the program vision, build roadmaps, and collaborate with senior leadership to launch services across multiple stakeholders.

You will lead a team of five direct reports, manage cross-functional execution, and ensure timely program updates to Senior Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in non-profit organizations or government agencies, including project, program, and people management.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience serving members or customers directly.
• Experience working within a database or CRM.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear vision and long-term roadmap aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Member, Customer & Market Research: Develop mechanisms to gather feedback from Members and licensees, analyze regulation trends, and assess industry offerings to identify gaps.
• Execution & Delivery: Translate strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and specifications for cross-functional teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with leadership, technology, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Data & Metrics: Track service performance using KPIs, metrics and data analysis to guide iterations and improvements.
• Within 1 month, establish relationships with VAULT specialists and understand the role and structure.
