Job summary

Medtronic plc in San Antonio seeks a field-based Vascular Clinical Specialist to provide clinical, technical, and procedural support across vascular therapies. The role partners with sales and cross-functional teams to ensure case coverage, customer education, and therapy adoption while serving as a trusted clinical resource for physicians and care teams.

The position requires travel up to 50% of the time within the territory and occasional evening/weekend support for urgent patient cases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years or 4+ years with an Associate's Degree in healthcare, field sales support, personnel and performance management, project management, or related areas.
• Ability to travel throughout San Antonio territory up to 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license with active insurance and a driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to provide occasional evening and weekend support for urgent customer and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, technical, and product support for vascular procedures and therapies.
• Deliver case coverage and procedural guidance to physicians and healthcare teams.
• Educate customers through one-on-one training, in-service programs, product demonstrations, and clinical discussions.
• Partner with sales representatives and business partners to support territory objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, clinicians, administrators, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify customer needs, address product and therapy questions, and communicate market insights to internal teams.
• Manage inventory activities including audits, discrepancy resolution, consignment management, and product availability.
• Support product launches, inventory transitions, operational initiatives, and other business activities that contribute to customer success.
