Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States is seeking a Therapy Development Specialist to provide advanced clinical and technical support for PVH vascular therapies across diverse clinical settings. You will train physicians on carotid and thrombectomy therapies and serve as a clinical SME for new therapies within the Vascular sales organization.

This field‑based role requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with substantial travel.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma and 8+ years clinical, medical device or related experience in a hospital environment.
• Associate's degree and 6+ years in clinical, medical device or related experience in a hospital environment.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in clinical, medical device or related experience in a hospital environment.
• Preferred: Neuroguard clinical expertise with strong vascular device knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical expertise and hands‑on procedural support for vascular therapies, ensuring safe outcomes across clinical studies.
• Support case coverage, key accounts, and execution of business plans; drive product launches and utilization.
• Educate physicians, nurses, and staff through in‑service programs and one‑on‑one training sessions.
• Build relationships with clinicians and administrators to drive adoption and gather actionable insights.
• Provide after hours case support and travel up to ≥70% of the time.
