Requirements include ARDMS or CCI credentials (or board-eligible with certification within 12 months), BLS, and 1 year of cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education in diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
• Registration with ARDMS or CCI required or board-eligible with certification within 12 months.
• Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders and identifies patients for procedures.
• Performs vascular diagnostic testing per policy and guidelines.
• Documents health history and enters data accurately in systems.
• Communicates data to team and collaborates for patient care.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and participates in training.
• Pursues registry and completes competencies annually.
