Job summary

Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health, seeks a Casual Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform echocardiography and vascular testing. You will report preliminary findings for physician interpretation and follow accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities include obtaining health history, documenting results, ensuring report accuracy, and collaborating with care teams to deliver optimal patient care. Position is on-site in Ohio with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High School education required; associates/bachelor’s preferred in diagnostic sonography.
• ARRT registration or eligibility is required.
• ARDMS/CCI certification or eligibility with certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography and vascular testing per Accreditation guidelines.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort; assist with patient transport as needed.
• Obtain health history and document data; ensure report accuracy before dispatch.
• Communicate patient data to team and collaborate with other departments.
