Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, a Trinity Health member, is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer in Grove City, OH to perform vascular diagnostic testing and report preliminary findings for physician interpretation. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in accreditation processes.

A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS/CCI credentials (or board-eligibility with certification within 12 months) are required, with a $15,000

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS or Board-eligible with certification within 12 months of hire.
• Experience: Minimum one year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred.
• Effective communication skills; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and correctly identifies patients.
• Performs vascular diagnostic testing according to policy and procedures; reports abnormal pathology.
• Obtains health history and ensures accurate data in reporting systems; ensures accuracy of reports prior to dispatch.
• Communicates pertinent patient data to team members and collaborates with other departments for optimum care.
• Knowledgeable of testing equipment; participates in evaluation of new equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintains professional development; participates in accreditation/re-accreditation processes and PI activities.
