Job summary

The ideal candidate will have HE/S diploma or higher in diagnostic medical sonography, ARDMS/CCI certifications, BLS, and 1 year of cardiovascular imaging experience, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Education required; degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred (minimum 1 year).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and proper patient identification.
• Performs all studies per policy; reports abnormal findings and ensures patient comfort.
• Obtains health history and enters data accurately in diagnostic systems; ensures report accuracy.
• Communicates patient data to team and collaborates with other departments for optimal care.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment; participates in equipment evaluations.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and registry maintenance; participates in PI.

Education
