Job summary

Mercy South is hiring an EVOR RN for full-time positions in Missouri. The candidate will provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process, coordinating with the surgical team and other departments.

They must maintain patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with Mercy Service Standards. Minimum requirements include nursing education (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), an RN license (state or compact), and six months OR experience; BLS is required or must be

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Six months OR experience; Proficient in Level I requirements as defined per policy.
• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department-required timeframe: ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, and other unit-specific certifications

Responsibilities

• Uses the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
