Job summary

Mercy South is seeking an EVOR RN (Full-Time) to deliver patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with the surgical team and other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Minimum requirements include an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), education from an accredited nursing program (ADN/ diploma/ BSN), and at least six months of OR experience with Level I proficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Experience: Six months OR experience. Proficient in Level I requirements.
• Certifications: BLS required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications: One or more unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains professional accountability consistent with Mercy Standards.
• Physical requirements include the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
