Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Practice Manager III to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of one or more practices. This leadership role partners closely with the Site Medical Director to drive practice performance, patient access, quality outcomes, staff engagement, and financial success.

Education and experience include a Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) with 5+ years in medical office leadership; six+ years supervising

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience; master's degree preferred.
• Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in medical office leadership; 6+ years supervising non-exempt staff required; leadership experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations to meet profitability and CORE metrics.
• Partner with the SMD and practice leadership to develop and implement strategic goals and work plans.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient care quality and satisfaction data.
• Direct hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management and staff development.
• Foster a positive work environment to attract and retain staff, providers, and patients.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory, coding, and patient safety requirements.
• Manage provider scheduling and support operational efficiency across the practice.
• Develop and manage practice budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Serve as mentor and subject-matter expert for organizational initiatives.
• Support practice expansions, mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, openings, and closures.
• Facilitate provider and staff meetings and promote cross-team collaboration.
