HCA Florida North Florida Hospital seeks a Vascular CV Tech II to support the Cardiac Cath Lab and CVL teams. The technician will set up patients, scrub, circulate, and record, while ensuring sterile technique and high-quality imaging.
On-call participation is expected, with focus on patient safety and teamwork. Qualifications include accredited CVT or Radiology training, BLS/ACLS, and RCIS or ARRT credentials as applicable.

The Cardiovascular Technician - CVL (CVT-CVL) is responsible for providing a safe and meaningful service to Cardiac Cath Lab and CVL patients. The CVT-CVL must be able to perform in a fast paced environment with a teamwork approach. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. They must be familiar with all necessary equipment involved in performing assigned duties and be able to operate such equipment when needed. They must have knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique. The CVT-CVL responsibilities include proper patient set up, scrubbing, circulating, recording, maintenance of sterile technique, locating and use of all supplies, troubleshooting of clinical equipment. The CVT-CVL must have a good understanding of the entire scope of procedures performed within the Cardiac Cath and CVL space. Independent proficiency and full participation in departmental procedures and performance measures, including on call availability, is an expectation. The CVT-CVL establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments andMedical Staff. Makes technical assessments of image quality and monitors image quality, which meet or exceed established standards. They demonstrate competence when performing other related or licensed functions.
