Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville is seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures with focus on quality and safety for patients of all ages. You will collaborate with the imaging team, radiologists, and other departments to ensure accurate, timely results.

The role emphasizes maintaining rapport with staff and patients while adhering to protocols and standards. A recognized ARRT radiography certification and BLS are required, with CT specialization preferred;

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required; (CT) preferred
  • Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Performs imaging procedures in the Imaging Department with focus on quality and quantity
  • Establishes rapport with patients, staff and medical staff
  • Provide imaging services to inpatients and outpatients of all ages

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.


What qualifications you will need:


  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required; (CT) preferred

  • Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology

  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
