Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Florida is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering advanced cardiac care. You will assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, and work with state-of-the-art cath lab technology to ensure precision.

You will prepare patients, educate families, monitor responses, maintain a sterile environment, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 90 days.
• BCLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or RDCS, or CRT, or RRT/RCP, or LPN/LVN, or CST, or Paramedic.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS must be obtained within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or Paramedic
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
