Job summary

BD in Atlanta is seeking a field-based Sales Specialist to drive growth in medical disposables. You will meet quotas, manage accounts, and partner with distributors in the south Atlanta region.

Responsibilities include implementing marketing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and providing performance reports. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of healthcare related sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and large account management skills a must.
• Solid negotiation skills; ability to present to customers and respond to needs.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Meeting/exceeding sales quota.
• Managing incremental conversion opportunities from targeting through evaluation, product ordering and in servicing.
• Maintaining existing business.
• Implementing marketing initiatives.
• Implementing national/regional contractual agreements.
• Providing routine performance reporting.
• Working with local distributor branches servicing the territory.
• Utilizing available sales support resources.
