Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services seeks an experienced Varicent SPM Consultant to serve as a subject-matter expert supporting enterprise Sales Performance Management solutions.

This role will translate complex sales requirements into effective Varicent configurations, models, workflows, reports, and calculations while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. The engagement is a 12-month contract with 25% travel, targeting U.S. citizens or Green Card holders on a W2 basis.

Good day! We are seeking an experienced Varicent SPM Consultant to serve as a subject-matter expert supporting enterprise Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions.

This position will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex sales performance requirements into effective Varicent solutions. The consultant will provide expertise across Varicent SPM configuration, models, workflows, reporting, calculations, data integrity, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only; W2 employment required

Travel: 25% - one week per month, actual schedule may vary depending on client or project needs

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for Varicent SPM and Sales Performance Management processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret requirements.
• Translate business requirements into effective Varicent SPM solutions.
• Guide technical and business teams in the design, configuration, and optimization of Varicent models, workflows, and reports.
• Ensure Varicent solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving calculations, data integrity, and system performance.
• Conduct system audits and reviews to maintain data accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance.
• Train and mentor team members and end users on Varicent functionality, best practices, and process improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and quality assurance activities.
• Identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the Varicent SPM environment.
• Stay current on Varicent product updates and relevant industry developments.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of total professional experience.
• Approximately 9–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Varicent SPM.
• Strong understanding of Sales Performance Management processes and best practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into Varicent SPM solutions.
• Experience designing, configuring, and optimizing Varicent models, workflows, and reports.
• Strong troubleshooting experience involving Varicent calculations, data integrity, and system performance.
• Experience working directly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to assess system performance and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting Varicent SPM within a Telecommunications environment.
• Experience training or mentoring team members and end users on Varicent functionality.
• Experience conducting system audits and data-quality reviews.
• Experience participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of compliance considerations within enterprise SPM environments.
• Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
