Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Valves Product Team within Engines. You will own valve development, production milestones, and performance metrics, while managing a skilled engineering team and coordinating with operations and supply chain to deliver improvements in cost, reliability, and lead time.

The role requires 7+ years in rocket engine or aerospace systems, 3+ years in management, and strong communication across stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in rocket engine development or aerospace fluid/mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of project and people management experience.
• Proven ability to establish and execute complex plans with multiple functional interfaces while maintaining clear communication across stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute plans to reach valve development and production milestones on BE-3U.
• Hire, develop, and lead a talented team of engineers.
• Define, manage, and action key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product team success.
• Coordinate with operations and supply chain to execute manufacturing upgrade initiatives.
• Identify, mitigate, and own valve risks and remove blockers.
