Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Washington State seeks a Propulsion Engineer II for the BE-7 engine valve program. You will own valve component design from concept through production, including material selection, tolerances, and manufacturability, while coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing teams to meet program milestones.

The role requires strong CAD skills, experience with valve hardware, and ability to analyze test data and perform CFD/FEA reviews. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with emphasis on mechanical or aerospace disciplines.
• Minimum 2+ years in valves, pumps, mechanisms or fluid control systems.
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US.
• Experience with design-for-manufacturing and rocket/engine components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own valve component development from concept to production.
