Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an ENGINEER II for BE7 Valves to own valve development across design, manufacturing, and testing. You will model parts in 3D CAD, draft drawings, run analyses, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery. Strong fundamentals in mechanical design and fluids are required for a role that supports safe, cost‑effective propulsion hardware.

Travel up to 10% is expected; U.S. citizenship or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; aerospace, mechanical or physics preferred.
• 2+ years in engineering with valves, pumps, mechanisms, or fluid control.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design valve parts and assemblies with manufacturability in mind.
• Perform tolerancing, performance predictions, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and QA for qualification and production.
