Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the valves and automation project quotations in our Pueblo, CO office. This role requires a Monday–Friday in-office schedule from 7am to 4pm and reports to the District Sales Center Manager.

You will liaise with both internal and external customers, provide technical guidance, and build strong vendor relationships to back our sales efforts. Prior experience in valves is preferred; a customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ experience with pipes, valves, or fittings in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the outside sales team on day to day and EPC project quotations.
• You will have Internal and External customers that you need to maintain relationships with.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while providing technical support and guidance.
• Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
• Be a team player and work with our district sales team to support quotations.
• Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together.
• Willingness to learn and train continually with products.
