Job summary

NECI is seeking an Application Engineer to own the full lifecycle of valve solutions from initial conversation to final delivery. You will engage with customers and account teams, sizing and applying valves, and ensuring successful commercial outcomes.

Join a team focused on ball valves, isolation valves, valve automation, and complete process solutions across industries. A hands-on role with customer-facing responsibilities and active collaboration across departments awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical) preferred.
• 3–5+ years in valves, valve automation, process control or related tech.
• Hands-on sizing, selection and application of control/isolation/safety relief valves.
• Experience engaging customers to solve technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Propose and sell valve solutions by listening to customer needs and sizing/indexing configurations.
• Grow valve automation business and promote complete valve solutions.
• Meet sales goals through product launches and customer discovery.
• Provide technical support during start-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Coordinate on-time delivery by working with suppliers and managing expectations.
• Develop new opportunities and maintain CRM data with accounts and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on growth strategies and territory plans.
• Contribute to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Attend factory training and principal sessions for ongoing development.
