Job summary

MPI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to oversee the metal manufacturing value stream, optimize production efficiency, and ensure high-quality output. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, experience leading supervisors, and a proven track record in lean manufacturing and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within a production environment.
• Experience leading supervisors and frontline manufacturing teams.
• Proven success driving continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the metal manufacturing value stream to meet production and quality objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Oversee team performance and provide coaching to ensure continuous development.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
