Job summary

Chesterton seeks a Value Stream Production Manager to lead a multi-cell, multi-shift manufacturing operation. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost performance while mentoring supervisors and aligning with the Plan-to-Win strategy.

A focus on waste elimination and speed to the customer is essential. You will ensure ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 compliance, develop next-level leaders, and enable successful new product launches within the value stream.

• Lean manufacturing concepts with a track record of applying lean tools.

Responsibilities

• Set production center goals aligned with annual strategy.
• Develop SQDIP metrics and real-time adjustments to address risks.
• Create a safe, productive environment and drive end-to-end results with quality and cost focus.
• Lead high-performing teams and establish accountability.
• Manage center expenses, including COGs and capital expenditures.
• Drive productivity, inventory turns and cycle-count accuracy.
• Implement daily management routines and 5S practices.
