ABC Industries, Inc. seeks a Value Stream Manager for the Mining/ITF/Lam operations. The role drives lean transformation across Lamination and related departments, aiming to maximize value, safety, quality, and productivity while leading cross-functional teams.

The position requires 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, plus lean manufacturing know-how. Responsibilities include hiring, KPI reporting, scheduling, TPM collaboration, and escalation of improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maximize value stream performance by applying lean principles to meet customer demands and business results.
• Optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency across the value stream.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, or ABC methodologies.
• Manage and develop production teams with a focus on safety and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and other departments to align processes.
• Monitor production data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Oversee hiring decisions for Mining/ITF/Lam/Weft teams; report KPI metrics in GEMBA walks.
• Schedule shipments and communicate ship dates to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to develop a TPM program and allocate direct reports as needed.
• Coordinate purchasing of supplies and raise requisitions; perform other tasks as requested.
