Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Value Stream Team Leader in Huntsville, AL to oversee one or more plant value streams. You will drive Lean initiatives, implement the Win Strategy, and lead a skilled workforce to improve safety, quality, cost, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with the Value Stream Manager and Team to develop future state maps, maintain standard work, and ensure a high-performance, compliant manufacturing environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Sufficient background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills with focus on safety and positive change.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• LEAN experience or leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant value stream(s) in daily operations and continuous improvements.
• Ensure standardized work and processes; support safety and 5S requirements.
• Develop and maintain Team Improvement Boards and PDCA tracking.
• Provide cross training and backup coverage across value streams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.
