Job summary

Scribe is building a value engineering function from scratch, and you’ll be the driver who connects what the product does to what it’s worth in dollars. This Individual Contributor role creates the framework and equips sales and success with tools to win in room conversations with CFOs and procurement.

You’ve done this before at a company selling into complex enterprise deals, turning skepticism into signed contracts and shaping scalable value programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building or scaling a value engineering, solutions consulting, or business value function at a B2B SaaS company
• Has translated product capabilities into ROI and business cases that held up in front of CFOs and finance stakeholders
• Has worked deals in the seven-figure range and knows what it takes to get a value story past procurement and finance
• Has built reusable tools (calculators, templates, frameworks) that other teams actually adopted and used
• Comfortable operating cross-functionally with sales, success, PMM, and SDR without needing a fixed lane

Responsibilities

• Build Scribe's value framework, the repeatable methodology for connecting product capabilities to measurable business impact
• Create value calculators, ROI justification templates, and presentation materials that sales and success teams use in live deals
• Partner directly with sales and success to probe, discover, and quantify customer value inside active deals
• Translate product benefits into the language finance and technical buyers actually use, ROI, cost savings, efficiency gains, business justification
• Get directly involved in the enterprise deals that matter, helping the team tell a value story that closes seven-figure transactions
• Align messaging across PMM, SDR, CSM, and sales so the value story is consistent no matter who's telling it
• Enabling sales teams on those core components
• Establish value engineering as a function at Scribe, including how it scales as the team grows
