Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced directors of valuation to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This flexible engagement targets 5+ hours weekly with potential for more, at a rate of $100 per hour. Fully remote, project-based, ASAP start.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory, with hands-on ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO models, and superb written communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory with direct ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO models.
• Deep fluency in credit risk assessment, covenant analysis, and investment committee memo writing for institutional stakeholders.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Lead development and validation of valuation models including DCF, comps, and LBO analyses.
• Prepare clear, professional memos and reports for institutional stakeholders.
