CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Valuation Director/Manager to lead valuation engagements across business enterprises, IP, and complex instruments. You will oversee reports, advise on strategic planning, and mentor a team while engaging with clients and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes technical rigor, collaboration, and development of valuation frameworks within a national professional services firm.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in valuation or a similar consulting practice servicing clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA, or related designation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects for business enterprises, IP, and complex financial instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives, and structured securities.
• Provide technical expertise in diverse valuation assignments, including economic damages and investigations.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor and defensibility.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve valuation issues for clients.
• Deliver valuation support for forensic, litigation, and investigative assignments.
• Lead client communications, present findings, and support business development.
• Supervise and mentor a team of associates and seniors.
