Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Valuation Director/Manager to lead valuation engagements across enterprises, IP, and complex instruments. You will supervise Associates and Seniors, build technical capabilities, and drive process improvements while delivering precise reports and testimony materials.

You will manage client communications, support business development, and partner with Assurance and Tax teams to provide cross-functional valuation services.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in valuation or a similar consulting practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• ABV, ASA, CVA or related designation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects involving enterprises, IP, intangibles, and complex financial instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives and structured securities for various purposes.
• Provide technical expertise in diverse valuation assignments including damages and investigations.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor and defensibility.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve valuation issues for clients.
• Deliver valuation support for forensic, litigation, and investigative assignments.
• Support cross-functional valuation work with Assurance and Tax teams.
• Design and run financial models for litigation strategies and compliance.
• Draft and review technical reports, exhibits, and expert testimony materials.
