Job summary

CLA is seeking a Valuation Director/Manager to lead and manage valuation engagements for financial reporting, M&A, and strategic planning. You will oversee projects involving IP, intangible assets, and complex instruments, review reports, and support cross-functional teams with technical valuation expertise.

The role emphasizes client engagement, business development, and team leadership, with opportunities to mentor Associates and Seniors, drive innovation, and improve valuation processes

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in valuation or similar consulting practice servicing clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA, or related designation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation leadership and manage valuation projects involving business enterprises, IP, intangibles, and complex financial instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives, and structured securities for regulatory, transactional, and litigation purposes.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor, defensibility, and relevance.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve valuation issues for clients.
• Provide cross-functional valuation support to Assurance and Tax teams.
• Design and execute financial models to support litigation strategies and compliance assessments.
