Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is hiring a Valuation Director/Manager to lead complex valuation projects across enterprises, IP, and financial instruments. You will oversee regulatory, transactional, and litigation valuations while delivering high-quality reports and models.

You will manage client relationships, contribute to proposals, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements in valuation practice. Candidates need 6+ years of experience and relevant credentials.

Qualifications

• 6 years of valuation or equivalent consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA or related designation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects for business enterprises, IP, intangibles and complex instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives, and structured securities for regulatory, transactional and litigation purposes.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor and defensibility.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve valuation issues and support litigation/forensic work.
• Engage clients, present findings and develop relationships throughout engagements.
• Support business development and contribute to proposals in industry forums.
• Supervise and mentor Associates and Seniors, reviewing analyses for quality and consistency.
• Advance process improvements and automation in valuation workflows.
