Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager to join our Valuation Advisory team in Maryland. This hybrid role emphasizes leadership, client management, and advanced valuation capabilities across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or related field.
• ASA, CPA/ABV, CFA, or another valuation credential, or significant progress toward a credential expected to be obtained within one year.
• 5+ years of experience performing and reviewing valuations of business entities and intangible assets for financial reporting, transactional and tax purposes at a Big Four/top firm or national valuation firm.
• Strong technical background in fair value measurement and financial reporting (ASC 805/350) and valuations for tax (estate/gift, 409A).
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review valuation analyses and reports for businesses and equity interests for financial reporting, tax, and corporate planning across various industries.
• Develop complex financial analyses and financial models.
• Lead engagements, host client meetings, and clearly communicate issues and findings to supervisors and clients.
• Mentor and develop staff; provide performance feedback and recommendations.
• Manage client expectations and deadlines; maintain client relationships and cross-sell services.
• Contribute to business development and internal process improvements.
