Job summary

CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, is seeking an Advisory Manager in the Valuation Advisory practice in Illinois. You will prepare and review valuations, develop complex financial analyses, and lead client engagements while mentoring staff.

You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to influence cross-functional teams and engage in business development, all within a hybrid in-office/remote model requiring about 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
• ASA, CPA/ABV, CFA, or another valuation credential, or significant progress toward a credential expected to be obtained within one year.
• 5+ years of experience performing and reviewing valuations of business entities, ownership interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting, transactional and tax purposes.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review valuation analyses and reports across industries for financial reporting, tax, and strategic planning.
• Develop complex financial analyses and models.
• Lead meetings with clients and management; communicate issues clearly to supervisors and clients.
• Mentor and develop staff; provide performance feedback.
• Manage client expectations concerning deliverables and deadlines.
• Develop client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Support business development, including proposals and industry groups.
• Identify and resolve client problems with team members.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and models.
