Overview

Join to apply for the Valuation Advisory - Manager role at CohnReznick. This position is in the Dallas office and supports the Valuation Advisory group. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm with in-person collaboration encouraged about 3 days a week on average.

As part of a top professional services firm, you will help clients optimize performance and manage risk through advisory services. The team offers exposure across advisory, assurance, and tax with opportunities to learn, grow, and build expertise within the practice.

Your Team

This role supports the Valuation Advisory group, providing a wide suite of valuation services to clients. You will interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

Your Role — Responsibilities
  • Appraisal / Advisory Services: Work with Real Estate team to assist, manage and complete outbound appraisals and fair value studies for real estate.
  • Engagement leadership: Supervise and oversee all aspects of VAS engagements throughout the transaction process; coordinate the work performed by multiple service lines.
  • Client management: Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements; lead meetings and calls with clients and target management.
  • Risk and delivery: Understand and manage firm risk on projects; manage client expectations regarding deliverables and deadlines; lead change efforts effectively.
  • Relationship development: Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with managers and partners to identify and resolve client problems or issues.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external clients at all levels to accomplish objectives with knowledge and confidence.
  • Billing and metrics: Meet or exceed targeted billing hours and utilization targets.
Your Role — Additional Responsibilities
  • Audit Assist: Work with Assurance Team to review and prepare documentation for assurance clients and related fair value measurements; adhere to best practice guidance from FASB, SEC, PCAOB, AICPA, and the Appraisal Foundation relevant to fair value.
  • Knowledge sharing: Communicate best practices to assurance teams and external clients; assist core assurance teams with valuation concepts and guidance.
  • Independent work: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications — The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a similar consulting or audit practice.
  • Certified General Appraiser License or MAI; or CPA, CVA, CFA, ASA or related valuation credentials.
  • Strong technical background in appraisals, valuations for financial reporting, real estate consulting; litigation experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a growing practice.
  • Leadership, recruitment, training, and mentoring capabilities; proven business development experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Additional Information

In Colorado, the salary range for a Manager is $110,000 to $150,000. The total rewards package includes discretionary performance bonus, generous PTO, parental benefits, and access to learning and development platforms.
