PENN Entertainment, Inc. in Aurora, IL is seeking a Transportation Assistant Shift Manager to lead valet and transportation operations on shift.

You will ensure guest service, safety, and efficient vehicle flow while supervising attendants and coordinating with the Transportation Manager. This role requires strong leadership, experience in hospitality or parking operations, and the ability to respond to incidents quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in valet parking, transportation, hospitality, or related environment preferred.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles and use radios, scheduling tools, and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee valet and transportation operations during shifts and adjust assignments based on demand.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings and communicate priorities to the team.
• Monitor vehicle flow, arrivals, departures, and service times.
• Ensure equipment like keys, radios, and tickets are secure and functional.
• Provide professional guest service and resolve issues within authority.
• Supervise attendants, dispatchers, and shuttle operators; coach team members.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and incident reporting.
• Maintain records for shift reports, attendance, and vehicle logs.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager and other operations partners.
