Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a friendly Valet Attendant to welcome guests and provide top-tier service at our Detroit property. You’ll park and retrieve guest vehicles, answer questions, and help strangers feel at home while maintaining knowledge of the local facility.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to operate various motor vehicles, and a valid Michigan driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Parking and retrieval of guest vehicles upon arrival and departure.

• Maintain knowledge of the property.
• Train new team members (Valet Attendants only).
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various motor vehicles
• Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
• Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
• Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
• Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in operating various motor vehicles and vehicles with a manual transmissions.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s license.
