Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit seeks a Valet to provide top-level guest services, including parking and retrieving vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a valid Michigan driver’s license and be able to operate various motor vehicles, including manual transmissions. Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, answering guest inquiries, and training new team members. Parking and retrieval of guest vehicles upon arrival and departure from the property.

Essential Functions

• Parks guests' cars upon arrival
• Retrieves guest’s cars upon departure
• Answers any questions upon arrival
• Provides the highest level of guest service
• Has thorough knowledge of the property
• Trains new team members (Valet Attendants only)
• Other job‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various motor vehicles
• Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
• Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
• Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
• Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in operating various motor vehicles and vehicles with a manual transmissions
