Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Detroit is seeking a Valet attendant to ensure efficient vehicle handling and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will enter vehicle information, verify tickets, and interact professionally with guests.

The role requires standing for long periods, driving ability, English communication, and a valid Michigan driver's license. You will learn the property layout, assist colleagues, and support the Dispatchers when needed.

Responsible for the efficient operation of the Valet areas on assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Enters vehicle information into the system.
• Make sure ticket is filled out completely.
• Professionally interacts with customers.
• Notifies management for any challenges.
• Organizes working station.
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of Guest Service.
• Train new team members (Dispatchers only).
• Thorough knowledge of the property.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various motor vehicles.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Skilled in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.
• Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Required Certification/License: Valid Michigan driver’s license.
