Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC is seeking a Casting - Chemical Process Operator for 1st shift at our Tampa facility. The role focuses on operating vacuum casting furnaces to produce high-quality investment castings according to customer specifications, while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

You will read engineering procedures, monitor cycles, troubleshoot process variations, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced foundry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Must be computer literate and able to use basic manufacturing software.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Eqiax, DS and SX vacuum furnaces to pour alloy into molds per specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S practices.
• Read and interpret engineering procedures and safety rules.
• Support training of new operators and process changes.
