Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Shell Production Operator to support ceramic investment casting mold production, dewaxing, burnout, and furnace operations. You’ll safely prepare molds for downstream processes while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
English communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
Basic math skills and accurate data recording.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Remove molds from drying areas and prepare for dewaxing.
Use hand-held pneumatic tools to remove mold bleeders and prepare for processing.
Load and unload molds from steam autoclaves and burnout furnaces.
Operate autoclave and furnace cycles per instructions and SOPs.
Transport molds between areas and record mold weights.
Complete production, safety, and quality documentation.
Inspect PPE and ensure proper usage at all times.
Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety issues to supervision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S standards.
