Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Casting Maintenance Technician to operate Eqx, DS and SX vacuum furnaces, load and pour alloys into molds, and ensure adherence to customer specifications. The role involves maintaining production schedules, completing documentation, and supporting process improvements within a high-precision casting environment.

The position requires basic foundry knowledge, the ability to read engineering procedures, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous foundry related experience or college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Eqx, DS and SX vacuum furnaces to pour alloy into molds per engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Complete required manufacturing documentation (Melt Logs, Daily Furnace Checklists, Mercury Logs).
• Verify correct alloy and master heat are used in accordance with the work order requirements.
• Support training of new operators and process changes.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area (5S).
