Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Casting Maintenance Technician to operate vacuum casting furnaces, follow engineering procedures, and maintain logs for high-quality investment castings. The role emphasizes safety, 5S, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

You will help reduce scrap, support process improvements, and assist in training new operators while ensuring on-time production and cost efficiency in a fast-paced foundry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent life experience accepted.
• Prior foundry-related experience or college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Equiax, DS and SX vacuum casting furnaces to pour alloy per specs.
• Read and follow engineering procedures to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to reducing scrap and process variation.
• Maintain required manufacturing documentation (Melt Logs, Furnace checks).
• Support training of new operators and ensure safety and 5S practices.
