Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Casting Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain vacuum casting furnaces (Eqx, DS, SX) to produce high-quality investment castings per customer specifications. You will support process improvements, monitor cycle trends, and help keep production on time while controlling costs.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a background in foundry work is a plus, and strong mechanical aptitude with safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Eqx, DS and SX vacuum furnaces to pour alloy into molds per specs.
• Perform start-up checks and routine maintenance on furnaces.
• Document melts, logs and daily furnace checks.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and process variation.
• Ensure clean, safe work area and comply with 6S practices.
