Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in the United States is seeking a Casting Maintenance Technician to operate vacuum furnaces (Eqx, DS, SX) and produce high-quality investment castings per customer specifications. You will participate in start-up checks, monitor cycles, and ensure correct alloy usage while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Responsibilities include workload planning, documentation, and supporting process improvements to reduce scrap and lead times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Foundry experience or college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Eqx, DS and SX vacuum casting furnaces to pour alloy into molds per engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform equipment pre-checks and complete Pre-Flight Checklist.
• Complete required manufacturing documentation (Melt Logs, Daily Furnace Checklists, Mercury Logs).
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and process variation.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S practices.
