Job summary

Profound Research is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support high-volume vaccine trials at one of our sites. You will learn hands-on study coordination, patient interaction, data collection, and clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You don’t need prior exact role experience; we value ownership, clear communication, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. The role is a 1099 contract with potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, OR Associate’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework or experience in a clinical or life sciences setting
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with attention to detail
• Clear, professional communication with patients, caregivers, clinical staff, and internal team members
• Proficient with standard computer tools; able to learn new systems quickly
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and care when working with patients and sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume vaccine clinical trials, including patient visits, scheduling, and study procedures
• Assist with data collection and documentation while applying Good Clinical Practice standards
• Perform clinical procedures such as vital signs, phlebotomy, and specimen handling
• Prepare for and support efficient participant visits and rooming
• Interact with study participants, answer questions, and ensure support throughout visits
• Collaborate with clinicians, coordinators, and site leadership to build knowledge
• Follow protocols and infection control to ensure audit-ready trial execution
• Maintain organized study materials, supplies, and lab workflows
• Communicate clearly with the site team about patient needs and visit status
• Contribute to a fast-paced, team-based site environment where quality and patient experience matter
