Job summary

Profound Research is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support high‑volume vaccine trials on‑site in Oceanside, CA. This 1099 contract role focuses on patient visits, data collection, and study procedures to ensure compliant trial execution.

You will learn clinical procedures, coordinate visits, and work closely with site leadership while building foundational experience in regulatory, documentation, and patient care in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree with 3+ years of relevant life sciences experience.
• Associate’s degree with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework or experience in a clinical or life sciences setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of high-volume vaccine clinical trials, including patient visits, scheduling and study-related procedures.
• Assist with data collection and documentation while learning to apply rigorous clinical research standards.
• Perform and develop competency in clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing.
• Help prepare for and support efficient participant visits, including rooming patients and organizing supplies.
