Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units are turned quickly to market-ready condition by performing repairs and make-ready tasks. You will caulk, seal, repair sheetrock, and perform touch-up painting as directed, while supporting grounds and common areas maintenance.

The role requires following safety protocols, attending safety meetings, and meeting the company’s standards for occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects all sheetrock for damage and repairs and/or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
